RBA ( now The Uptown Agency) AdAge Best Places to Work 2nd Year in a Row

Dallas, TX (January 11, 2021) RBA (now The Uptown Agency), the award-winning Dallas-based branding and advertising agency, has been named No. 3 in Ad Age’s Best Places to Work in 2021. This is the agency’s second time nominated and the second time making the list. Best Places to Work 2021 identified 25 agencies under 200 employees that are, according to Ad Age “quantifiably ahead of the pack when it comes to factors like benefits, inclusion and employee development.” The awards program identifies and honors top employers in the marketing and media industry that nurture an exceptional level of employee satisfaction based on criteria including workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, demographics and the employee experience. Winning companies navigated through a remarkable year that included a global pandemic and a deep recession along with calls to address social injustice and take a stand against racism.

Ad Age Best Places to Work 2021—produced in partnership with Latitude Research, a market research fir­m—identifies 50 workplaces that get the job done: 25 companies with 200 or fewer employees and 25 companies with more than 200 employees. Winners reflect the highest overall numerical scores based on an analysis of questionnaires submitted by employers and survey responses from employees. The scoring system factored in six key satisfaction areas, an aggregate of each company’s ratings in those key areas, and a collective workplace rating to arrive at an overall score. Kace Phillips, partner at RBA ( now The Uptown Agency), said, “We are super proud of this work, and love getting recognition from our peers. More importantly, our client sold over 450,000 corn dogs in an 8 week period and ended up 20% year over year. That’s what we’re most proud of.”
