RBA ( now The Uptown Agency) Wins Silver Davey Award for Work with CBRE

RocketBrand (now The Uptown Agency) has been honored to win a Silver Davey Award for their work with CBRE’s LA Law Firm occupier group. RocketBrand (now The Uptown Agency) was tasked with producing a video for potential CBRE clients that would demonstrate the team’s deep market knowledge of placing law firms in the best possible working environments. The video won in the Film/Video Corporate Image category, continuing RocketBrand’s ( now The Uptown Agency) reputation as an award-winning advertising agency.

The Davey’s are the largest and most prestigious awards competition exclusively for the “Davids” of creativity. David defeated the giant Goliath with a big idea and a little rock – the sort of thing small agencies do each year. The annual International Davey Awards honors the achievements of the “Creative Davids” who derive their strength from big ideas, rather than stratospheric budgets.

The Davey Awards may be for smaller companies, but the judges have big reputations. The Davey is sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a “Who’s Who” of acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing firms.

AIVA members include executives from organizations such as Condé Nast, Disney, GE, Keller Crescent, Microsoft, Monster.com, MTV, Push., Publicis, Sesame Workshops, The Marketing Store, Worktank and Yahoo! and many more.

RBA (now The Uptown Agency) has been awarded a Silver Telly Award for Social Video for our work on the Golden Chick Fletcher’s Corny Dogs campaign. 2020 was a year marked by Covid-19, political and social unrest, and the cancellation of most life events—but this promotion brought happiness to people during a difficult time and proved that our team can work well during a once-in-a-lifetime challenge. Kace Phillips, partner at RBA ( now The Uptown Agency), said, “We are super proud of this work, and love getting recognition from our peers. More importantly, our client sold over 450,000 corn dogs in an 8 week period and ended up 20% year over year. That’s what we’re most proud of.”
